Tour de Bliss

I explore and teach
strategic bliss-finding excursions

My gift is strategy. I even eat my toast strategically (butter-side down…it optimizes the flavor). I can’t help turning everything I do into a strategic pilgrimage. I must find the best, most enjoyable, possibly never-been-done-before way. And when I lose enthusiasm or it stops working, I must research, re-group, and re-optimize it all.

One of my biggest ongoing strategic goals is to create a work life that feels natural and effortless. I want not only the outcomes of my work to be wonderful, but I want the process to fill me with ever-increasing amounts of joy. I have strategies for everything — my content strategy, my identity, my website, my product strategy, my services…literally, everything in my business has some sort of systematically-developed system designed to bring me the most joy and happiness.

This past April, I created an online learning experience called the Tour de Bliss where I share and continually develop these ideas with others. The Tour is made up of individual 4-week excursions, where we learn not only my system for doing things, but fellow travelers have space to develop their own strategic systems for a business that is blissful.

We just got back from the Content Riviera.

In it, we learned to create a simple, potent content strategy that is attached to triggering events that you already do every day. We learned how to create an internal content strategy that is effective and natural, as well as an external content strategy that leads new people to your doorstep (also in an effective and natural way). The goal was to become enthusiastic content-creators who create ravenous learners and readers.

Here are some things people said:

“I felt incredibly trapped and even anxious every time I thought about content strategy. Especially when I tried to come up with an editorial calendar. It always felt limited, forced and insincere. It felt so good to be encouraged to ‘go with your gut,’ so to speak. With the Most True approach, I am able to speak from my heart, communicate genuinely, and not feel so robotic or formulaic in how I approach content creation.

I also really loved the community aspect. You, of course, are an invaluable component to the course. However, having other people share their stories, feedback, ideas, and encouragement was a surprisingly fantastic element.

I’ve been telling everyone that you’ve revolutionized my thinking toward content strategy. Your perspective and methodologies are counter to every other person online, seriously. It is also so much more powerful because of it’s depth, meaning, and personal connection.” - Erin A.

“I have to say: content creation has NEVER been easier than it’s been on the Content Rivieria! I’ve been able to write about things, and in the voice I wanted to, in a whole new way and feel AWESOME about it. Thank you!” - Tara S.

“Just read through the content for Week 3 and had to come here to tell you how much I love everything you are doing for this tour. Every day’s content is rich and meaningful and helpful. The whimsy completely captivates me (it’s totally a Sarah J. Bray trademark). And the little jokes you include here and there make me laugh.

Thank you for making this so fun and so helpful. You are doing truly great work, and I’m thankful for a chance to be a recipient of it.” - Christianne S.

The next excursion: The Remarkability Carnivale

This one’s under wraps for now. If you’d like to hear more as it unfolds, you can subscribe here.

Pricing
4-week group excursions are priced at $525 and are limited in the number of participants because I like to keep things chummy (based on current enrollment, the next open excursion will have 20 spaces available). Spaces go to subscribers first, and then I make them available to everyone.

Once a year, I offer an annual itinerary that includes all of the upcoming year’s excursions. This year, that event will be held in April (subscribers hear about it first and get special pricing; subscribing happens here).
