Sooners Top BCS Rankings

Next time Bob Stoops goes into a rant about scheduling, remind him of this day.

Oklahoma came out on top of the first BCS rankings for the 2010 season, despite being third in the human polls. Apparently, the computers respected OU’s schedule enough to push the Sooners over the top. (Probably helps that margin of victory isn’t part of the equation.)

This will get a lot of coverage for a day or two. As Stoops himself noted today, however, there’s still a ton of football left to be played.
