Great Scott! Here’s a little “back to the future” from SuperPrep.com’s Brandon Huffman: Apparently stud tight end prospect Xavier Grimble committed to USC this upcoming Friday.
Different sites began reporting early today that Grimble would make his college decision on Friday. Huffman, however, showed his competition what kind of amateurs they truly are, publishing Friday’s events two days ahead of time. (Huffman has yet to reveal the plans of Sentreal Henderson.)Homerism is all in favor of the early bird catching the worm, but something tells me Grimble’s future self would have preferred to break the news.

Grimble picked USC on Friday, continuing the Trojans run of elite prospects at the position.
