The Pescadero Municipal Advisory Council recommends that the Board of Supervisors accept the State Water Resources Control Board Small Community Wastewater Grant SCG-959. Members of the Pescadero community and the PMAC have worked actively with county staff to obtain this grant. Grant funds in the amount of $140, 207.00 have been available since October 2006 for the feasibility and community input.
The town of Pescadero has already expressed its wish, through the community-wide 2004 Town Planning Workshop, for this infrastructure improvement. It is important that we continue to build on the established base of community support to assure a successful outcome. As system concept(s) are being defined, it is essential to continue to seek input from Pescadero residents.
