Malaysia has many beautiful islands to visit, yesterday I was in Kuala Lumper and ended my visit to the mainland with an evening flight over to the duty free island of Langkawi, off the west coast of peninsular Malaysia. Its a little bit north of the well known Continue reading
So I just came back and put together some footage that I took from my recent trip in the North of Thailand. Living in Central Thailand always makes me feel pulled from both sides when it’s time to get out of the city. Go north to the mountains or south to the beaches? Luckily my trip to the south is coming soon (as in tomorrow!) So before I board my flight to Singapore and make my way from there to the southern Thai islands I thought I’d share my March Adventure.
One of the highlights of my recent trip to Chiang Rai, the Northernmost province in Thailand was a short hike we took in Doi Mae Salong through the tea fields. Just a quick post today, I took a video of the sound and light show from the clock tower in Chiang Rai city today. It’s located at the junction of Phaholyothin, Jet Yod and Banpaprakan Roads downtown. Everyday at 8,9 and 10 o’clock, not only does it change colour, it also plays a few songs. It looks very contemporary, it has a similar design to the white temple, Wat Rong Kun and is worth a visit if you happen to be in the area at the time. There is a local bar nearby with outdoor seating so you can also enjoy a drink while you wait for the show.

On Sunday night I headed to the other side of Bangkok to find the fabled Train Market. I’ve heard so many people talk about the new market near the JJ / Chatuchak Weekend Market that’s been around for only a short time. It’s the new hipster retro market where all the cool kids go to find action heroes from the 80′s, Furby dolls (which seem to have Continue reading
