We hope you loved the first installment of our designer feature mini series!

Today, we bring you part two, a really versatile and beautiful vest designed by Laura Nelkin.  We first met Laura at Stitches back when Courtney was working at a LYS and Laura was working for Schaefer, and are always happy to see her and hang out at the various events and trade shows we have attended over the years.

We are honored to play a (small) part in Laura’s next step, and are delighted her first pattern as an independent designer, Cayden, features Road to China Light.

Cayden is a seamless vest worked from the bottom up with slight shaping at the fronts for optimum drape and wearability.  Shown with a knit dress, we could also see it dressed down slightly with a pair of jeans and boots.
