We are delighted to announce our third collection of for sale patterns is now available for individual purchase online and is on its way to LYSs around the country!

This season we designed a collection of shawls, scarves and even a cowl, each using a different Fibre Company yarn, and each with a unique construction technique.  For a color palette, we went with green earthy tones, and named each design after a tree that we love.

Linden is a lacy, open shawl designed by Courtney and knit out of Savannah in Hickory.  Linden is worked from the neck outward in an elongated triangular shape.  Once the main body of the shawl is complete, an border is worked horizontally and attached as you work for a seamless finish.  For more information, additional photos, and to purchase Linden, click HERE.

Beech is a luxurious triangular shawl designed by Courtney and knit out of Road to China Worsted in Peridot. The shawl is knit from side to side, increasing as you go, then decreasing back down once you reach the center point. The body is in garter stitch and a easy to memorize lace edge knit on as you go adds enough interest to keep you on your toes.  For more information, additional photos, and to purchase Beech, click HERE.

Sassafras is a square lace shawl designed by Courtney and knit out of Canopy Fingering in Yerba Mate.  The shawl is knit form the center outward in the round with double increases at each corner.  The lace body is comprised of three separate patterns for easy customization and interest throughout the knitting process.  For more information, additional photos, and to purchase Sassafras, click HERE.

Mountain Ash is a crescent shaped shawl designed by Kate out of Road to China Light in Malachite.  The shawl is worked from the neck outward with increases on the side edges and evenly along the row to create a shape that wraps easily around the wearer’s neck and shoulders.  The main body of the shawl is knit in garter stitch and a wide lace border knit on horizontally and attached as your work provides a seamless finish.  For more information, additional photos, and to purchase Mountain Ash, click HERE.

Balsam is a long rectangular lace scarf designed by Kate and knit out of Terra in Nettle.  Designed with a garter edge and sides and a large repeating lace motif reminiscent of leaves, the end result is a soft, warm, luxurious scarf you will turn to again and again. Magnolia is a tubular slightly slouchy cowl designed by Kate and knit out of Organik in Fjord. The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up and is comprised of repeating cable panels paired with a nupped lace panel.  The combination of the luxuriously soft Organik paired with the structured and textural cables produces an accessory that is fun to knit and wear.  For more information, additional photos, and to purchase Magnolia, click HERE.

Tupelo is a triangular garter stitch two-color shawl designed by Courtney and knit out of Canopy Worsted in Laguna + Mint. knit from the bottom up with increases every other round, contrast color nupps are created using the intarsia technique.
