In a nutshell:
A documentarian at heart from the beginning, I strive to capture the subtle beauty in everyday life, near and far. I am proud to have earned my degree in photography from Columbia College Chicago in 2003, where I learned the traditional craft - shooting film and making fiber prints in the darkroom.
After 10 years of city life in Chicago & Los Angeles, I was recently pulled back to my midwestern roots. Currently based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I also travel to clients in California and throughout the U.S.
Besides photography, I live for yoga, hiking, weekend road trips, a good Lake Michigan swim, simplicity, and anything chocolate. :)
