I was contacted by River Island to do a two page spread for their RI magazine that they will launch soon. I was(and still am) very flattered to have been chosen as the blogger that will represent Belgium in the magazine. For my spread, centered around local Belgian content, in the magazine I went to the RI in Antwerp, that they openend only last year, and spent the day there with Candice (the beautiful blonde in the pictures). We had a great afternoon discovering the new SS11 collection and I came up with a few outfits I really liked, and of course most of the items I used for the photoshoot will soon be in my wardrobe. Most of the outfits revolve around two key items the 7/8 skinny jeans and the oversized striped jumper/dress. All the items (including hats and bags) are available on the RI online shop (expect for the boots which are Candice’s).
A huge thank you to the girls from Oona and RI for this amazing experience and for their kindness.

Congratulations on getting to do this project! I absolutely love how you’ve styled the pieces! I seriously love all the items and wouldn’t mind adding that cardigan in the first photo, the striped jumper, and that hat (is that hat from RI too??) to my wardrobe. Wowza… this has seriously made me look at the brand in a different way.xx

I am glad you like what I have done, the cardigan was the very first thing I put my hands on, it is so pretty and the colours are gorgeous and es the hat is indeed RI.It was great getting to do this, because they have some really nice pieces but the online store really doesn’t do them justice sadly
