Susannah Conway is hosting August Break, a daily photographic diary for your blog throughout the month of August. It couldn’t have come at a better time! Today is moving day in our first home and I’ll be busy with unpacking, painting, scheduled renovations and everything else I’ve been looking forward to all summer.

I love August Break. It gives me permission to love my blog more (and appreciate my readers more). I think every once in a while we forget blogging is a hobby for most of us, and letting us take a break for priorities is much needed sometimes. This is my second year participating in August Break.
