Sponsor Profile and Giveaway: Darling Vintage

As most of you know, I had the chance to hang out with Diane from Darling Darling blog this weekend. She is absolutely adorable and when I first hugged her, she is so petite and cute, I thought my big hair was going to eat her alive. We talked about everything from music, to boyfriend/husband, candy, Michael Cera, fashion, libraries, everything. I’ll admit I don’t get out much since I work from home. Being social for me is having my husband and two cats in one room. I was nervous but felt totally comfortable and I hope to hang out again without getting us lost!

I’ve done a profile on Diane before, on her take on style, but if you are not familiar with her blog, she has an etsy shop, Darling Vintage. Just like her take on fashion, she also has the same taste to pick out her clothes in her shop. She has everything from adorable rompers, florals, chic dresses, and she is offering up one of her items from her shop! Check out some of my favorite items:

Rules to Enter:
Visit Darling Vintage on Etsy let me know what your favorite item is.
All commentary is welcome on the interview and items, but if the comment does not have a favorite item from the shop, you will not be entered in the giveaway. The title of the item is ideal to let me know you took the time to visit.
When will the giveaway end?
I will choose a winner via random.org on Sunday evening. Winner will be announced next week.
Who is eligible?
All forms of life, you need not have a blog to have a chance to win. Just leave an email to be contacted.
This is open internationally as well.

Thank you, Diane!

There is a lot of flotsam and jetsam on the internet in regards to vintage fashion, and its hard to find someone with a unique eye. Diana seems to really have it and hence is one of my favourite vintage bloggers/sellers and it's great too because I get to see a lot of unique stuff I wouldn't see otherwise! (I'm from Australia, and while we have some great vintage stockists it's hard to find stores that stick to a certain style or quality of garment – most are just out for a buck.) (I also respect that she shops for different sizes, and not just those that she personally fits.)I've had my eye on the vintage plaid collared secretary dress because I'm obsessed with round collars and feminine dresses/cuts in masculine/unisex colours.

I'm not even sure if I'd manage to squeeze into a size xs, but otherwise I'll just give it to my skinny friend for her birthday and tell her to visit Darling Vintage for more lovely garments.

I'd like to have that last plaid romper OR the red shoes. I was just thinking to myself today how I hate not having interesting shoes. Every day I wear these gray flats with tiny black polka dots and a stupid black bow and it's so cliche it pisses me off.
