Hello there, I hope that you’re having wonderful holidays whatever you’re up to. I’m spending this week in the French alps, snowboarding, falling on my arse, eating waffles and struggling to take in the beauty of the mountains.
No resolutions for me, because I’m far too contrary for that to result in anything but rebellion but I do have some rather exciting plans for 2008 and I’m definitely looking forward to whatever the year might bring. Happy Hogmanay!

Wow, I am very jealous. I got to ski in the French alps once when I was little…it was amazing.
I’m learning to snowboard, too – I bet I fall more than you! I almost broke my wrist the other day.
A very, happy Hogmanay to you, m’dear! I can’t wait to see what 2008 has in store for you and for me!
Breath-taking view!
Thanks for sharing!
I’ll have a wee dram and think of you! We always start drinking whiskey here at noon in solidarity with our Scottish friends. (8 hour time difference) Of course that means we’re also in bed by 6 in the evening! Happy New Year.
How absolutely beautiful! We only have a measly dusting of snow left on the ground in Chicago. Happy New Year.
Un bonjour spécial d’une française alors! Bon ski et bonne année!

Ha, your description of yourself as too contrary to make resolutions has put into words what i’ve been trying to explain to people about myself for years!! Long live the rebels!
Happy New Year to you, too :)

Hi–Just found your blog via my purchase of your wonderful Gretel pattern and I’m enjoying your other patterns, as well. I had to comment on these photos—-absolutely so beautiful! Enjoy your time in the mountains…
Absolutely Beautiful! I spent the holidays in Brazil…very different! I spent all my attempts at snow boarding on my ass. I hope you have faired much better than I did all those years ago.
