I need your help and there will be prizes for the help I make use of in the end. Because prizes are fun, and I really need your help!
First, bunny needs a name. The gender of this little rabbit is so far rather undecided, so see what it seems like to you. If I love the name you suggest enough to use it for the pattern then I’ll send you a free copy of the pattern as a thank you.
Here’s a close up, because you can’t possibly name something without seeing its face.
Secondly, I’ve decided to do a little active marketing with some ads on Ravelry, and maybe Craftster. I think I know pretty well what patterns I want to feature, but I’m stuck on how to describe my designs in a few words. I’m in need of a tagline of sorts and since these things are often easier to come up with from a little distance I thought I’d ask for your help. I may end up letting the pictures speak for themselves, but I’d love your input and if you come up with something I end up using I’ll send you a free pattern of your choice from my shop.

It might be a little odd, (our family has a rabbit problem, my father’s collection of bunny coffee mugs would attest to that) but one of our favorite stuffed bunny is name the Bunn of Y (pronounced Bunn of ee, though you could spell it that was too) lets just say this bunny is very adventurous and has even been mistaken for a UFO by a random passerby. (this is what happens when a couple of siblings decide the Bunn of Y wanted to fly and proceeded to throw it out the window on a 20 ft cord and spin it around really really fast.)
then there’s Bunny and Bunnette, who both accompanied my dad through grad school and now have PhDs in electrical engineering
As soon as I saw the bunny on your Flickr account I was thinking it’d be cute if it was a girl named Eliza, so she could be in an interspecies relationship with Elijah. :P

I like the use of similar letters like you (by coincidence? no…) did for Elijah – the Elephant. Here’s E and L at the same places in the words.
Therefore, I’d call her (as I believe Elijah is in need of a female friend) Ruby – the Rabbit. Here’s R and B at the same place in both words.

I suggest Beatrix. Apart from my absolute adoration of Beatrix Potter, I quite like the name Beatrix. It has a quaint feel to it, while still implying a headstrong personality.
This little bunny is adooooooorable, and I fully plan to knit her/him for a small cousin of mine.

I think the rabbit is a girl and her name is Tilly.
Pinkerton Rabbit, for some reason. I like the idea of both a first and last name, as though he could be real enough to get mail ro a credit card or something!
As for a tag line, something like ‘fairytale knits’ or ‘romance on the moor’…. I don’t know, I find your designs have really romantic and feminine touches, that aren’t too ‘girly’ or over the top. If Wuthering Heights played out in knitwear, I’d totally imagine your designs. Can’t you just see Cathy wearing the Cloud Bolero or Snow White, crying, ‘ Heathcliff! Heathcliff!”???

As for a tagline–your patterns are so adorable on their own that I really don’t think they need any. But if you must have one, maybe something relating to the names?

Many of your patterns seem inspired by fairytales … perhaps “Fairytales by Ysolda”?
But also you might want to emphasise you take a lot of care in making sure your patterns are clear, so perhaps something along the lines of “Fairytales fully explained”? “Fairytales in detail?” Umm, not quite catch enough, umm…
Since I am bilingual, and french is such a beautiful language, may I suggest Jeannot lapin pronounced somewhat like theis: jah-no (soft j) lah-peigh (silent n), in case you don’t know french. Jeannot lapin is a children’s book character, in the translation of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit.
I wrote this to intro your designs: Sporting names borrowed from your favourite childhood fairytales and belles from classic literature such as Gretel, Snow White, and Estella; and featuring such delicately girlish details as picot edgings, lace borders, and satin ribbons, Ysolda’s designs will please the little girl within all of us. Written in easy-to-follow and adaptable instructions, the knitting itself captures the fancy and inspires the knitter to give up her day job to knit patterns à la Ysolda all day long.

Well, it’s pretty clear the bunny’s name is Lenore. She’s delicate, sweet, but a little sorrowful (those drooping ears!).
I also like the idea of “Fairytale knits,” but I worry that’s a little too precious. For a tagline, maybe something along the lines of “Once upon a time….” and then the pattern name at the bottom: “Coraline” or “Snow White” for example. But the image on which the tag line appears should be sort of dark fairytale-y, like something from Tim Burton or Terry Gilliam. Maybe try the Orton effect on the ad image in conjunction with this idea. Whatever you end up designing I’m sure will be perfect.
I suggest Mr. Bun for the simple sake that our house is comic obsessed and Mr. Bun was the name of Calvin’s female nemesis Susie’s stuffed bunny rabbit in the comic Calvin and Hobbes.
For your design idea, I suggest: You’re never too old to dress up in your favorite fairy tale. Feel like the princess you always wanted to be.

I took one look at those ears and thought “Flopsy,” as in Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail, and Peter, though as several others have mentioned, Beatrix Bunny is excellent name, too.

Advertising is difficult. Of course, sn ad to be eyecathing but not too “look at me.” It should come down to what you want your designs to portray e.g cute, classic or whimsical. As for a theme, I can see your designs fitting into a medievil princess/peasant scenario. I hope this helps!

i looked at her face and immediately started singing one of my favorite songs- Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel… so i think this must mean that she wants to be ms.cecilia or either that when i make a distant cousin of hers in the future that she will in fact be a cecilia, but i would have to look at her face to be sure. :)

In Sweden, where I live, we have something called Names-days so that everyday at least one (ususally two) people can celebrate their name. What I do when I want to name some new item is to see whos Names-day it is, and today it is CLEMENS – so that is my suggestion.

The Irish word for rabbit is coinín (pronounced cuh-neen) and this reminds me of the name Connie, which I think would suit your lovely bunny quite well, and compliment Elijah’s name, too. It means constancy and steadfastness. It can be used as both a boys and girls name, but I think your little bunny is a girl.

Blimmin’ ‘eck! I think Katrina should win the tagline competition – her entry nails your designs perfectly. Fairytales seem to twee to encapsulate your designs, and while they are feminine, I feel there is a darker edge to some of them. Snow White, for example, with its overtones of poison and jealousy; or Estella, whose mentor Miss Havisham instills such bile in her. Perhaps ‘the darker side of Wonderland’ would be a good tagline?
As for the rabbit, I second Flora, but that may be because I am reading ‘Cold Comfort Farm’ at the moment!
The bunny looks like Whybrow to me. Because he has a “Y” shape to his eyebrows / face, and a slightly quizzical air. Apologies to owners of the surname (I knew one once!)

For the advertising, the colour scheme of this site and the drawing at the top would look nice. Would definitely catch my eye.
This made me think of “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” and the dance that Mr. Herriman does for Madam Foster. You could call him Mr. Herriman or after the song “Funny Bunny.” If you name him Mr. Herriman, though, he would need a coat with tails.
I am of the opinion that he is a boy, and that his name is Bastian the Bunny.

I like the idea of continuing the Biblical theme started by Elijah. It evokes feelings of “the olden days” the same way the fairy tale names do. I can’t decide if the bunny looks like a he or a she to me, but if he’s a he: Ezra. If she’s a she: Abigail.

Wow, I have no idea if someone in the comments above came up with it, but I looked at that soft, vulnerable and sweet bunny face, and thought of something sweet and delicate, like Delilah.

Hi. I lurk. I am coming out of the woodwork to suggest that your rabbit be called Prudence. Rabbits have always seemed very cautious and timid to me. You choose names with care and purpose. This name seems true to that spirit – and it is quite old fashioned, so it is in keeping with many of the previous suggestions!
I find the care you take with names quite endearing and would like to see a tagline that evokes this somehow. Perhaps something including a phrase like “literary inspirations”
