About Me
I'm Kate England, artist, iPhoneographer and designer. In 1997 I started Marmalade Moon as a journal, sketchbook, and expression for my digital, creative romance. Here I write about living a simple, beautiful, creative life.
In 2001 I opened a tiny design studio in Fredhäll, the Beverly Hills of Stockholm, from where I provide design services for clients all over the world.
When I got my first iPhone in 2008, I discovered iPhone photography. I started exploring the iPhone and iPad as a revolutionary canvas for expressing yourself creatively finding new, exciting ways of adding a creative layer to my daily life.
I'm half English, half Swedish and I currently love live in Stockholm, Sweden.
My art has been published in the books Swedish Illustration 2 and Swedish Illustration 3 (Arvinius Publisher) international release. Exhibited in art shows, selected as Apple's "staff pick" and featured in the Illustratörcentrum iPhone app that presents Swedish art and design.
My weaknesses are travelling, putting my head in the clouds, Danish pastries, & exploring — not necessarily in that order.

Fuelled by coffee, creativity and curiosity Marmalade Moon is a logbook for my creative journey and inspiration. I'm inspired by ordinary magic. Magnified moments. Cross pollination. My art is in motion. Evolving. Searching. Examining. My design is a tactile expression of my love for colours, bold, modern shapes and simplicity. In my iPhoneography I capture fleeting moments of everyday beauty, like making golden marmalade with sun-soaked oranges to lift your spirits on a darker day.
